About me
Hiiii! I'm Erica.
I believe therapy works best when you don't have to pretend.
My style is warm, collaborative, and genuine. I'm not interested in being a blank slate or pretending to have all the answers. Instead, I want to create a space where every part of you is welcome: the messy parts, the protective parts, the angry parts, the funny parts, and the stigmatized parts.
As a trauma therapist, I specialize in helping people understand how their past experiences continue to shape the way they think, feel, relate, and move through the world. So many of the things we criticize ourselves for were once brilliant survival strategies. Together, we'll get curious about those patterns instead of judging them, making room for healing that feels meaningful rather than performative.
My work is grounded in EMDR and parts work, while also drawing from attachment theory, person-centered therapy, and nervous system-informed approaches. I tailor therapy to each individual because there isn't one right way to heal. Some days that might look like deep trauma processing. Other days it might look like laughing together, building practical skills, or simply surviving a really difficult week.
I approach therapy through a feminist, anti-racist, LGBTQIA+-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, and sex-positive lens. I value consent, autonomy, and authenticity, and I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role isn't to tell you who to become—it's to help you reconnect with the person you've always been underneath the survival strategies.
Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship patterns, burnout, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can become a place where you no longer have to carry everything alone.
If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with compassion, curiosity, humor, and honesty, I'd love to connect and see if we're a good fit.
I also provide supervision, consultation, and mentorship for therapists.
